I know the " what's your favourite album ever " thread has been done to death but when ( as I just have ) you realise its 31 years old does it make you feel old ??

Is your favourite album also this old or something more modern ??

I had this moment about one of my Favourite songs turning 50 in 2019. (I wanna be your dog- stooges)

But that song proves that somethings age well and remain relevant so I unbunched my panties

I don’t know about albums, but I was watching The Pet Shop Boys set from Glastonbury last week. I saw that Neil Tennant is 67 years old, and that they’ve been putting out music for damn near 40 years. Holy Shit! As a child of the 80’s, that makes me feel old.

To be honest, I prefer the studio version. Shame they never released the live version when Gabriel was still with the band. I saw it on their "Selling England By The Pound" tour.

Well i went to see the 30th anniversary tour for one of my favourite albums....that was almost 5 years ago- released just before The Stone Roses first album (thats 33 years old).

Saw a post elsewhere that Prodigy's Fat of the land is 25 this week, their Experience album hits 30 in a couple of months....these are some of the bands and albums i class as fairly recent

My favorite album is nearly 50 years old and never tire from listening to it.

It's one of those albums you could never be without. The speed, the slowness, the atmosphere, the rush, the time to contemplate. It's all in there. I like to be connected to the songs like it's just for me as I can relate to it.

Oh, the album. Sheer heart attack by Queen.

Love plenty of music from 60s and 70s but don’t care how old it is

Plenty of people like Beethoven now that’s really old

I recently went to see Wedding Present celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of my all-time favourite albums; Seamonsters. It was a fantastic night, sang my heart out, and I was 23 again……
