So this person who arranged a meet with me and then ghosted me on the day. I unfriended him, let it go, and not saying anything. A few month down the line, this person approached me again and asked for meet. Clearly, he forgot how he treated me last time. So what is the best response?

1. Ignore him and don't say anything.

2. Call out his lies and then block him.

3. Be friendly and arrange a meet again???

This is what I said to him before I blocked him: "I am sorry but I do not talk to dishonest and manipulative person." have I been too hash?

Not harsh at all especially given the circumstances! Personally I would block and ignore (although all of my being would want to call them out!) L x

Had the same happen by 4 different guys..

1st two I gave 2nd chances too last two it was an instant block.. and that's how I plan to do the rest.

As they ghosted you on the day I'd have blocked them there and then

If they'd have given you a genuine reason for the cancellation then they might have got a second chance

Ask yourself how will you feel if they done it again, if the answer is upset block them and move on, they aren't even worth calling out they aren't with your time or energy

No I don't let them rent space in my head. I'd just block and delete any contact

. (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

If they waste my time by ghosting and not turning up for meets I report them (and block)

... it's highly likely they are also doing it to others so it needs outing ...

Not that much ever happens to them though

I believe in second chances but not to the extent of being treated like a fool. I’d ask them about what happened last time, if there’s a good reason (not that I could imagine a good excuse for ghosting) then reconsider.

Do they have verifications or are they on here for alternative reasons ?

It’s ultimately down to you to decide but in my opinion that person should always be given a chance to explain themselves, especially if the initial interaction was a good one.

Good luck Op

Don't even consider giving this person one extra minute of your time.

It’s the height of insulting when they get back in touch and can’t even remember having done it. Same with guys who don’t have site supporter and can’t see the previous message history and forget that they’ve messaged before. Waste of time. Block and move on.

I’ve had this, same guy has contacted me from 4 different profiles now, arranged to meet him on first contact, drive 20 miles to meet him,he didn’t show. Reported & blocked. He’s contacted me from 3 other profiles so he clearly is being reported a lot! When I called him out on it a second time, he was rude and abusive so reported & blocked again. Not worth my head space!
