A few days?! More like forever - but definitely not to Scotland

I’d rather stay at home and be punched in the face than go to Scotland.

With a son living in Edinburgh, this is a regular occurrence for me. Love it

In a town full of colours

This is a frequent activity for me and having friends all over the UK to visit helps

I simply pack my bag and do it. It's a perk of bachelorhood and retirement.

Yep. Miss the Cairngorms and the almost harsh bleakness and beauty of the Highlands.

Might just go for a couple of nights next weekend now.

I'm thinking to go to whitby to lay down in the beach looking at the sky admiring the sunset and waiting for the stars to come out and feel the magic of life

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please)

I think it is important for everyone to do this if they're able.

Get some music or podcasts on, drive far away and have some me time to reflect and recharge.

Not easy for those with childcare or caring responsibilities.

So perhaps try to find hidden gems nearby instead.
