Climate activist lunatics are targeting fully electric Chelsea Tractors as well as petrol and diesel. Worried mum's say that they are endangering their children on the schoolrun if they do not notice. Climate activists claim that these luxury brands all have dashboard warning lights and drivers should notice the different noise if they drive off.

What's going on here guys?

Targeting electric vehicles. Justified or not?

It's criminal damage. Arrest the lot of them. And arrest the drivers for having inappropriate cars in the city.

Electric Chelsea Tractors?

So the activist are claiming that by damaging tyres saves the planet? Which needs rubber composite to make, electric to create and mold, and air to pump up etc etc because that makes soo much sense. If they kept my tires inflated I would sing their praises.

Sharpey.. I honestly don't know... All I can say is they contribute to food waste with their methods...

Not only do they let car tyres down, they sometimes put notices under the windscreen wipers ..

I refer to the answers above inso far as this practice is vandalism and or criminal damage. The perpetrators should be subject to the justice system for their actions.

It is also short sighted LOL

If you really want to make them pay, beating them and getting yourself locked up and therefore not driving your car anymore... not really the best way.

Your kinda letting them win.

This is BS, they are targeting vehicles that have a high emissions output, namely those that use land rovers in the city for school run.

Statistically I would imagine (and I am not an expert) it is one of two things.

1) They enjoy it.

2) the only way you get heard is by making things inconvenient for people.

A Protest which doesnt cause a fuss does no good.

To be honest I’ve no idea how I’d react personally. I know if someone came into my house I wouldn’t be asking them if they’re here to steal my TV or hurt my children before I found the nearest thing to whack with them with.

The same people who are doing this are probably connected to the grid whilst heating their badly insulated houses with gas fired boilers and probably haven’t upgraded their windows in donkeys and are sat now watching tv with the lights on boiling kettles using microwaves and go everywhere on a big diesel bus they are in no position to lecture me

Historically that's how it works though, especially when laws make it hard for you to actually inconvenience those who can make the change.

So you make an inconvenience for the public and they get pissed at both sides, which brings about change.

Look at striking in the past. Public hates it (as evidenced by recent threads in the forum) but the public takes it out on both sides and that brings the companies to the table to actually make a deal.

Doesn’t striking also mean the business in question loses a bunch of profit, forcing them to the table?

How does slashing a random persons tyres have a similar effect on the biggest polluters?

It is. It’s also exempt from a charge in a LEZ.

The very way a two stroke works means that all forms of harmful emissions come from it
