From the land of haribos.

I just read an article that 7.30am this morning, heathrow cancelled 30 flights, some passengers did not find out that their flights were cancelled and there wasnt any customer service, apparently they say it was disrupted by a rare "schedule intervention". I wonder how this intervention happened, have your holiday plans been affected?

A friend was travelling by taxi to heathrow from south wales, about half way up the M4 the driver just happened to say have you checked your flight, he went on his phone and the flight was cancelled

Yes, lets hope that he gets a refund/reschedule and can still have a holiday somewhere

North West

We went through Manchester and Schiphol recently. Manchester special assistance security - over an hour queue but otherwise fine. Schiphol was deserted. Sailed through with ease. No real issues for us.

Berkshire

My partner flew back from a work trip to Malta and it took her 2 hours to get through passport control

I went to pick her up and my airport parking was near on 40 quid!

Dubai & Nottingham

I try and use Luton or Birmingham and if needed change at Charles de Gaule or Shnipol for long haul , the only time I’d use Heathrow is for Virgin Atlantic

Yes, that is a long time and an expensive parking time too.

Pleased I didn't book the flight back to Heathrow today.

I picked return flights from Manchester over Heathrow.
