Vauxhall Corsa CDTi

I chose it because I needed a new car quickly and it was a bargain with low mileage (58k) and is cheap to run. Grateful for that in these times

My main daily driver is Peugeot boxer For work obviously

My fun car is bmw 535d chosen for being the fastest ever production diesel saloon car and renowned for being m3 m5 eater (oh and it is !@440bhp!)

Chrysler voyager for family

And then my peach 1976 y82 trans am in black the original Smokey and the bandit car chosen because of the film and I couldn’t afford to buy a Dodge Charger (general Lee !)

My next car will be a rs6 or cls 63 only because they leave my bmw standing and the traffic light Grand Prix

No prizes for guessing my motoring hardwear. I've actually got two of them, but hardly use either of them these days because, I've had to get two second hand wheelchair adapted vehicles to get my mum around. My mum became disabled after the age of sixty, and after sixty you don't qualify for DLA, which in turn bars you from getting motobility allowance. So I, like so many others, have to provide my own disabled transport for my mum. So you are far more likely to see me riding round in one of them than in either of my Jags with the roof down. That's why this place is called Great Britain, GREAT Britain by those who want to get here having contributed nothing, but not so Great Britain by those who have paid into the system all their lives, and get a kick in the crutch when you ask for something back.

I provide my own transport and wheelchair and everything too. It's pretty commonplace, including for those of us who are current taxpayers.

I got it because I love the look of it, but then when I drove it I couldn’t drive anything else. Also being a pilot I can feel the aviation pedigree flowing through the car. Sadly never got a go in a Grippon, although never say never, maybe ETPS might get desperate and let me have a go at theirs……

Rover 45. Seriously undervalued cars. Its comfortable, economical, reliable (so far) passed its last MOT with no advisories and cost me a grand total of £280.

Its predecessor was a rover 25 that was just as cheap to run, cost me about the same and I scrapped it when I had a £100 repair bill.

Rovernomics! Had many and never had a headmaster go...

I prefer to be chauffer driven, usually in a Sunsundegui SC5, with leather seats and air conditioning.

On other occasions, it can be a CAF series 3000 or 4000 or a Hyundai Motem.

In other words, I now use public transport because fuel has become so exorbitantly expensive.

I do have a very highly specced European made car, which has now become too costly to operate on a daily basis, but will be retained for special occasions!

I miss my Corsa Sxi+ 1.3 diesel, but moved like silk, cost me £30 a year tax (probably higher now). And incredibly economic. AVG of 60mpg. Coped with snow quite well even with the low profile tyres. Shame it wasn't much good as a family car. Had to downgrade to a focus. That was an expensive trade off. Could have bought a new car for the amount I spent on that over the years I had it.

Honda CRV diesel. My third Honda CRV. Had for a while Range Rover Sport. That was until timing chain went at less than 34000 miles. This happened in October 2020. Towed into my local dealership. Informed mine was the 7th one in queue with same fault to be checked that week. Luckily under extended warranty. So paid nothing . Got shot of vehicle once repaired. .

Needed a small car for tricky parking in my road, but large enough to get a bike in the back - which I couldn't do with my beloved mini convertible.

Negotiated an amazing deal on a pre reg corsa and got offered a job by the sales manager cos he was so impressed by my bargaining skills.

That offer was quickly rescinded when he realised he wasn't going to win that negotiation either!

Nope, just on cost for the manufacturer.

Be wary of using the foam repair shit as once used it renders that tyre useless.

2006 Colt, the one that looks like the A Class. I bought it because I wanted an estate. This little runaround can, with the seats put down carry either a fridge, washing machine or even a racer/road bike without taking the wheels off.

Colt: the name that Ford so dearly want, to add to their stable. But the Japs won't let them.

Expensive parts, but money well spent.
