What's your tipple?

I just read that the gin craze is over and vodka is returning to favour.

Apparently due to the cost of living crisis - guess vodka is cheaper?

What's everyone's tipple? I'm a gin girl - ideally a nice fruity one, though partial to a nice cold glass of rose in the summer.

I think I may be the only person in the world who still loves a peach schnapps! (When I order one, they usually have to hunt around a far flung corner and dust off the bottle! ) Either with fresh orange or lemonade. Even better in a Sex on the Beach cocktail.

Oh good lord even seeing the name peach schnapps brings back a 30 year awful hangover reminder... yep still 'too soon'

My tipple at home is a pale sherry...yes I am the Swansea version of Emily Bishop. When out I like white wine or bottle lager. And my go to cocktail is an espresso martini.

NBVN x

Good question, depends on my mood, normally one of the following:

Cider, red wine, rum, single malt or vodka.

Have been known to enjoy Arak as well.

If it's vodka then Zubrowka (bison grass) is my tipple of choice.

Whiskey is currently Smokehead single malt scotch.

But nothing beats a pint of Guinness.

I like it at Christmas too. But started drinking it when I'm out if I get too bloated off the ale

Wednesday night tends to be the night I indulge in a small alcoholic beverage because, Thursday morning, possibly running into the afternoon, is the day that I have home commitments, and so no worries about first thing in the morning breathalyser the next day. Tonight however, sat looking over the bay taking in my thoughts, and recapping on today's achievements while planning tomorrow, I had a mid life crisis! I made my own knickerbocker glory, complimented with coffee and a Southern Comfort with ice. Just the job to round off another successful day. Can't remember the last time I had an ice cream for desert, let alone a Southern Comfort with ice.
