Is anyone currently leasing a car? Did you get a good deal?

I need to organise a personal lease, for a new job l, starting mid July.

Any recommendations well received !

Good luck, there appears to be a lack of cars in general, judging by how much stock the rental companies don't have.

Definitely shop around, main dealers do tend to offer good rates on new cars (if you can find any) but I went to a broker for my last nearly new, the rate was 8% lower than the dealer!

Also, I often get a longer deal than I intend to keep the car for, monthly payments are lower and I always make sure the dealer pays some or all of any shortfall/outstanding finance.

I always lease from independent brokers as they tend to be cheaper than main dealers and can offer whole of market. Some brands will be difficult to get hold of in a short time period so be prepared to be flexible with your car choice.

I’ve used Alphera representing bmw finance and black horse a few times.

They’re all a much of a muchness and should all be regulated anyway. They make an annual courtesy call but do little else for you.
