"Morning all, Monday again! I think I’m ok from a mental health perspective today. Feeling pressure from my assignment deadline this Friday (I’ve extended it 3 times!). Also unsettled from feelings around trying to find somewhere to go this coming weekend for my 20th wedding anniversary that I won’t bore you all with here, but lots of disappointment and guilt which is having the effect of not feeling much like interacting with people, but my anxiety is actually ok as I write this. How are you feeling today? x" woke before the birds today, and did a reiki self-healing and meditation, followed by a contrast shower. Feeling a lot better than last week. | |||

"Not too bad so far. Did my first yoga session in a loooong time and feel much better than I have done for a while. Hoping to keep it up daily and start an exercise regime again to shift a bit of weight and tone up. Also been offered a contract to do a bit of writing regularly so I’m looking forward to that too. "Actually feeling good! Had a really positive therapy session today, last weeks had me struggling for the rest of the day. had a full week of ditching the cakes/crisps/chocolate, don’t even fancy it! I’m hoping whatever ‘clicked’ a week ago stays put. I’m quite enjoying this feeling good malarkey. I hope everyone else has some better days coming up, such a good post so people can talk and share x" Aww, that was a lovely read! I’m in a good place just now, walking that tight rope between being productively busy but just about keeping the right side of not being overwhelmed. Is it offered by the nhs or do you have to go private? " Hey, I’m sorry to hear that It depends what kind of help you feel you need. If it’s medication then see your GP. If it’s therapy you think you need then you can still see your GP but there will be a waiting list to start and you won’t have a choice of who you see or what type of therapy. If you’re able to afford to pay for private therapy then you won’t have to wait as long and you’ll have the choice of type of therapy and who you see (you can find out more about types of therapy and search for a local therapist on the BACP website - British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists x | |||
