"After splitting with my long term partner a few years ago, I went through a rough patch and slowly building myself back. Whilst at rock bottom I discovered walking and hiking band found it so therapeutic, it really helps to take everyday life stress away. Is anyone else into Hiking or maybe suggest other stress relieving activities (apart from sex of course )" It’s something I’m starting off with, I’m just walking round my village at the moment. I’ve bought some decent walking boots though and I’m looking to start doing more adventurous walks, the biggest hurdle for me is finding good routes to try! Some company would be great too!

In fact, just talking a walk in an area that's green, a park or field say... My best tip is to find something you enjoy doing otherwise you'll not stick with it. No point buying a bike if you hate riding etc. You'll probably find too that as you exercise you start to want to do more and more often, that's quite natural. Anyway, glad your mental health is improving.. It's as important as physical fitness

Fair play on the three peaks challenge that’s definitely on the list to tick off, and I’m planning Snowden in the next few months, Ben Nevis will probably be next year now but slowly ticking them off. So far I’ve done Helvellyn along Striding & Swirral Edge, attempted Scafell Pike but the weather was atrocious and wasn’t prepared for the onslaught of rain and wind so abandoned that one for safety. I’ve done the Pen Y Fan trail round Corn Du, Fan Y Big. I’ve done a few other lesser known hills and loads around South Wales now like Twmbarlwm some in Cwmtillery too. I love it

"Love walking, used to hike and did Scafell a couple of years ago. Such a good feeling getting to the top, was cloudy so we didn't see much " Scafell is beautiful just the drive up was amazing but the morning of the climb it was the worst weather the rain and wind was ridiculous. We didn’t even get a quarter of the way up and had to turn back. Definitely gonna attempt it again it was so nice just a shame about the weather.
