Not watched any properly this year. I’m not fussed on Diana Ross and although I like a bit of Macca, I don’t like him enough to watch his set.

I saw the Blossoms. Wasn’t impressed. Gave up after that. Plus Jo Whiley really gets on my tits.

I get it. The Beatles were great. Just go live off your royalties in peace.

Watched a bit of it yesterday. The music was so boring. And the fact they can't get anyone better than Paul McCartney to headline says a lot about the current acts. Then again I'm probably out of touch with contemporary music

I’ve enjoyed some of it, Noel Gallagher was superb as always, Paul McCartney was ok, I’ve never been - tried few years back for tickets with no luck but will be trying again for next year.

As much as I love the Beatles and listened to some of the early Wings stuff, it pains me to say I think it's time Sir Paul called it quits.... I had to keep changing channels ; personally I think his voice is shot. Pains me to say it but that's how I personally feel

I doubt they'd have sold less tickets if someone else headlined Glastonbury lol

all the people who really are into it would have tried to get there so not sure why the beeb needed to put it on so many times on different channels,, not a fan of live music anyway and cannot stand paul macartney so would have switched it straight off

Macca is overall a pretty well balanced family man. So it’s actually interesting that he stirs a fair bit of bile.

He got bad press after The Beatles break up and Get Back combatted that showing him to be a creative driving force.

But I guess many prefer more edgy rockers..

To me there is an element of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” thing going on:

The presenters (and don’t get me started on that Jo Wiley) rant on like it is all the stuff of legend and if you “don’t get it”, then that just shows you up as uncool and out of date.

I mean, a lot of people go. A lot of people have a good time but do we all have to get so enthused at how fab it all is?

Perhaps a more reserved presentation style with people like Monty Don and Jeremy Paxman .. now that I would watch

Given the size of it and the amount of different genres, there's a lot which they can't cover..

Think that's the appeal to try and get tickets to experience it more than what's on the small screen..
