I like feta cheese.

I am 41 years old, it's taken me this long to even try it. How is that even possible?!??

Have you recently discovered a liking for something??

Hopefully something more exciting than feta cheese.

We’ve just come back from two weeks in Crete and I swear I ate my body weight in feta.

Literally how?

Hmmm I’ve never been a finicky eater (except when I was a child, back then I’d not eat anything apart from random things like chicken skin, and ice cream) so I literally eat almost anything

Id say, a few years ago I tried escargot and I was like.. how did I miss out on this? So good!

Although I am not Catholic, we were brought up not to eat meat on a Friday. I still respect that and although I wouldn't pay top dollar for it, some of this vegan/veggie stuff that I've had in Morrison's reduced for quick sale clearance, like the two pretend bacon, and cheese turnovers that did my breakfast on Friday morning which I got for the princely sum of 12p each didn't taste half bad.

I dust them in either coarse semolina, or polenta, then oven until brown with a drizzle of veg oil (butter seems a bit overkill). I don't add any spice to the fries, as I'll likely be dipping them in something spicy
