I love this thread, it is so interesting seeing how diverse we are!

What book are you currently reading, or just finished?

Did you like it, would you recommend it?

What have you got lined up next?

I'm reading Foundation by Isaac Asimov, the first in a series of about 7 or 8 books. Very interesting thus far

Ghost Town,

Poverty and the pandemic by Stu Hennigan.

Yeah. It's not light reading but it's fascinating and heartbreaking to know just how divided society is in a pandemic.

I so wish I had time to read a book, but life is hectic, I'm hoping to revisit my James Herbert collection in the holidays, whilst I hide from the heat

My Dad kept going on about Ruth Rendell Inspector Wexford. After a few years of badgering I've given in and I'm ploughing my way through, and I must say I'm really enjoying them. I was being such a book snob

IFRS Guidebook, 2022 Edition. It’s riveting, can’t wait to get to leases and FX rates, I think I know what’s going to happen….but I won’t spoil the ending it in case anyone reads it

Stephen King, The Outsider. Good if you like something with a touch of the supernatural.

The I might treat myself to the new Stuart McBride/James Oswald or JD Kirk books.

I only normally read autobiographies (micheal parkinson being a great). Although I did recently invest in Obama and Springsteens renegades 'coffee table' piece.
