Meaning behind the lyrics

We’ve all got one, everyone has there favourite song or selection. But do you know the meaning behind the lyrics. What song do you like but when you looked to it’s meaning it wasn’t what it seemed.

I’ll go first: Police's classic hit 'Every Breath You Take' an alleged love song but the rambling thoughts of a possessive lover

“Police's classic hit 'Every Breath You Take' an alleged love song”

Certainly not written or intended as a love song but possessive post divorce angst

I recently started listening properly to Nik kershaw “wouldn’t it be good” and it’s basically depression based envy

Under the bridge. When I was younger I genuinely thought it was just about LA.

Queens 'All dead all dead' from the News of the world album, sung by Brian May.

I thought he was singing about one of his past lovers. Turned out to be his cat.

Slide it in, I ain't never gonna stop

Slide it in, right to the top

I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in”

Well I’m sure this being Fab n all we can all work out what these lyrics were about

Not where we seem to be...

East 17 - Stay.

Its not a Christmas song, it's about his brothers suicide.
