There's more to asking for a pic than just establishing body shape.

You'll see clothing tastes, or a dungeon background, or possibly a face, or some clue as to preferences.

If they have actually read your profile (it does happen!), they might just like to appreciate a picture of you.

I remember a few years ago i used to meet a guy regular, i used to be a size 22 and very self conscious about my weight, he was a really good looking guy as well and i knew deep down he didnt really find me attractive even tho he said he did, he could have done so much better than me, anyway he had to work away for a while in another country so didnt see him for month, in this time i joined weight watchers and lost 8 stone, near on forgot about him till one day out the blue i had a message from him saying he was back in the country did i want to meet, so i said yes, had always enjoyed our meets so why wouldnt i, so we arranged to meet, and i sat in the pub waiting for him, he walked straigh past me so i shouted him and he looked at me screwed his face up and said.....what the hell have you done to yourself you look shit, and thats quoted word for word, he had a few drinks we chatted and he left, never contacted me again

Something else to consider is that there is no real standard for what constitutes "BBW". It seems to be a perceptual thing, which can encompass a variety of different body shapes and sizes, depending on who you're speaking to.

So a guy sees BBW on a profile and he'll have an image in his head of what that means to him, but he's not to know how the woman perceives herself and so his idea of BBW may not match hers.

But I would hazard a guess (and as suggested by a previous poster) if he's asked to see a photograph then he's attracted to BBW's (or at least his image of them)

"Curvy" I've seen applied to people who claim to be size 10 - 18

"Average" has applied to about the same range

"Slim" I think I've seen a 14.

My point is not that any of those people were wrong, merely that it's not about size, it's about your approach to your size.

Some larger women are very pretty larger women and some are not. Would YOU meet anyone without seeing what he looked like first? I think it's perfectly reasonable to be asked to supply a photograph.

I think you have issues about your size that is clouding your judgement on everything else. A man who likes BBWs should tell you something: Your size isn't the issue, your personality and the way you carry yourself are the factors that will make him want to meet you.

A few years back I tipped the scales at 19st and got a few unfriendly comments about it - pffline, not online. My standard response at the time was:

"I can always lose weight, whereas you will ALWAYS be a wanker."

its just a shattered ego isnt it, i got a mail from a guy not so long back, we'd exchanged a few messages and i could see what was coming as with each message he seemed to be getting more and more short with me, he'd asked me to meet, i said no because he had no pics, he said we could meet 4 a drink see if i liked him, so i said no because i dont meet without seeing people first etc etc etc he didnt seem to want to take no for an answer, then he mailed me askinmg what i was doing on here if i didnt meet people then the last message came that said words along the lines of.....

im getting bored with you now, i think you should move on and stop mailing me, i have a life outside this site and i can pull anyone i like,sites like these was mad for ugly sad fuckers like you so please stop mailing me and get back to your other sad fuckers on the site

I honestly have never had an abusive email about my weight.

Im always always up front and tell those im contacting or they are contacting me that im all tits and ass and all the bits in between.

If they then dont like it, they can go on their way.

I am quite happy with my FB so presently am hidden.

As i cant see the point of putting my stall out if i dont want anyone to buy

I also think its a confidence thing. guys are normally attracted to confident happy women regardless of size

I think sexiness is a state of mind.

I am larger that I would like to be but I feel sexy so I project sexiness (if that makes sense??)

I think sexy is who you are not what you weigh.

I have been a size 8 (ok a long long time ago ) but I did not feel sexy I felt fat frumpy and horrible.

I know I am not everyones cup of tea there is no way everyone is going to find the same thing attractive and sexy or we would all be a bunch of boring feckers.

Think how boring life would be if we all found the same things great??

I cant tell anyone what sexy is since it means sooooooooooo many different things to so many different people. and thats a good thing I think.

In recent years I have started to edge more towards plus sized strange as it sounds. I am bombared with these 'ultra fit' images of thin women all the time in the media and on adverts and it just gets old after a while.

But as mentioned in many posts sexual confidence is way more sexy than any body shape. I would prefere a full body woman riding aggresively on top of me staring me in the eye with a look that says 'theres no escape from me until I have your seed!' than some thin 'supermodel' type that just lays there like a sex doll with barely any eye contact and you just feel like she is giving it to you as a reward or something lol

People like what they like and can’t help being attracted to what they like… whether that be fat , thin, tall, short, or something in the middle.

I will always remember someone telling me I wasn’t big enough… anyway…

If someone likes thin people… they like thin people.

If someone likes fat people… they like fat people.

If someone likes any size… they like any size.

No one should be judged because of what they find appealing.

It is a very unfulfilling hobby if people are not true to themselves and only seek what they have been conditioned by their friends and society to think of as appealing.

that is so true, my sister has what most women would call a body to die for, i personally would sell my soul to the devil for her figure, shes tall, leggy, no lumps and bumps, her skins tight and fits her well unlike mine which looks 3 sizes to big for me lol but is she happy? she cant keep a relationship because shes so insecure and obsessed with her lack of looks, even tho she has nothing to be insecure about, now no matter how attractive she looks noone wants to sit and listern to you moaning all the time about how ugly you are, and i know her feelings are important and true to her, and ive tried for many years to unserstand and support her, but its just not attractive to the opposit sex
