Its a bit cooler today so fingers crossed I won't be waking up all night and also hubby won't be singing in his sleep again.

Who's struggling with sleep at the moment.

Have a great weekend all.

Its not been much better up here. Certainly not as bad as when I used to live 'darn sarf' but still find myself sleeping with my ass out of the covers.

I feel for you. I’m still confined to downstairs as I can’t manage stairs yet so I’m sleeping in our conservatory.

Up with the sun every morning and only sleeping for about an hour at a time overnight, I’m absolutely exhausted

Insomnia a long standing issue for me but yea the muggy heat is not helping!

Pillow mist, bedtime tea and sleep mask help a bit

I use the pillow mist and drink a cup of roobiboos an hour before bed doesn't help when it's really hot though.

I think you can get inserts that go under the sheet; I might be mistaken though.

Have you tried cooling pads? They are usually blue and I usually put mine in my pillow.

I don’t know if you have a one below near you but they have a fan that is rechargeable and portable; you can put it on your bedside table.

Have you tried a cooling duvet? Do those still exist?

I did last night, too hot!

I usually listen to a podcast, if I'm concentrating on that then my mind shuts up.

Magnesium glycinate capsules are a good aid to sleep

I've struggled with sleep most of my life. Even being medicated doesn't work. I can fall asleep east enough but staying asleep hasn't happened for a very long time.

At least while it's warm I can go for a walk or something.

Currently it's Writers Routine, some guy interviewing authors, another favourite is Classic Ghost Stories or House of Legends: World Myths.

If I went for a walk I would never get back to sleep

I don't but it's better than laying there doing nothing.

Heat, stress, medication, more stress all mean I'm not only not sleeping well I keep waking at 4.30am.

It's getting old now and I'm bored of this nonsense.

Just need someone to rub my temples and talk gently to me about serial killers
