Location. Mines not right . My age never used to be either. It was for no other reason than anonymity. I don’t lie as such I just don’t offer the information. Unless I intend to meet someone. General public don’t really need to know my personal details.

Nope. And I've stated that many a time on here.

It's not to avoid filters - no need as Fox is way younger than me so no problem on that front. Nor is it to misrepresent me in any way. I've been judged to look younger than the age stated by many so not done to appear younger as apparently I do anyway.

So why then? Simple. To add a little more separation between the true me and the Fab me, the same as not showing a face, not listing our exact location and never revealing our jobs.

No harm done at all and if it bothers people.....I couldn't give a flying fuck.

I totally get this and also couldn’t give a toss. I changed my age when I came back to the correct one as most of my friends on here knew it was my 50th anyway and would probably do a thread. Otherwise I’d have kept it a year or so out like it was.

I can never quite work out the logic of lying about age as claiming to be Mr Universe, and turning up looking like Victor Meldrew is not exactly going to cut a dash. It's a bit like guys lying about their height, a tall lady in high heels is very unlikely to throw her knickers at you if look like Ronnie Corbett, so might as well come clean from the start if you hope to be in with a shout.
