George Michael/Mary Jane Blige v Stevie Wonder; As.

Was gonna nominate that myself but disagree Adele’s version of fast love is better! George is always the best

George Michael - first time ever I saw your face

Placebo - running up that hill was gonna be another nomination of mine

Blow monkeys - you don’t own me

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley

Gnr - live and let die

Johnny cash - hurt - any person of interest fans perfectly accompanied scenes and music

I agree with

Tainted love - soft cell

Respect - Aretha Franklin (yep this is a cover version)

Controversial - much as I love Joni Mitchell I prefer Paul youngs version of “both sides now”

Joan jett - I love rock and roll

Not difficult to improve on the original but I am still trying to work out what is so exceptional about Disturbed.

Every time the topic of cover versions comes up this one seems to be the old chestnut.

Can't say I'm over impressed, either, by Nirvana's Man who Sold the World which would appear to be the new chestnut on the block.

"Not sure if it’s better than the original but always liked; Rent By Carter USM because it’s so different from the original Pet shop boys song"

I also love their Carter’s version of This Is How It Feels

"The man who sold the world - Nirvana. The unplugged version is the most known but the live and loud version is great too."

Bowie was a genius and a phenomenon talent but I agree, Nivanas is better. Same as the Johnny Cash version of "Hurt"

"Johnny Cash- Hurt…even NIN said he owns that song now.

At the end of the video, when Johnny Cash softly puts the lid down on the keys........

It's like......... he knows he's coming to the end.
