Dust to dust

A few months back the skies of London went all pinkish and we had some heavy rain. Afterwards the cars, Windows and street furniture were covered in a light dust. I assumed this was the result of a "Sahara sand storm". Now it seems to happen everytime we get heavy rain in the capital. Is this happening countrywide? No one seems to be mentioning it but we must be breathing in this crap all the time if is lurking in our clouds, surely?

We washed our car a week ago, it's not moved since and is covered in dust.

Is this a usual occurrence or a recent thing?

Canvey Island

Right now, a lot of the summer weather we’re getting is being dragged up from Spain. Entangled in that is Sahara sand dust from the African continent, we had it last Saturday when the storms hit, everywhere was covered in that pinkish sand dust that had been sitting high up in the atmosphere.

But when it comes to washing cars, please don’t rub it off, like sandpaper on your paintwork.

This happens without fail every time I wash my car. There’s also two bastard pigeons that sit in my garden just waiting to dive bomb my car the moment it’s clean

Ok, well it all seems perfectly normal then. Good to know the sky's not crumbling or wot like that.

It’s been bad hasn’t it recently, same thing here but of rain, everything is left with a dirty residue.

Sahara sand or Klaus and the WEF spray dusting us all? Who knows!?

Yep, there's dust continuously falling now... Not mentioned ever and could be absolutely anything, I lost all faith in anyone in "power" and especially our media... Don't trust any of them.

I'm coughing more than usual. Put it down to having covid earlier in the year. I just find it strange that no one seems that bothered. We must be breathing it in all the time.

Had it a couple of days ago in Leicestershire. The sky looked like it was on fire!
