.. start in just over a months time.

So they’re not the Olympics, granted, but is anyone going?

Most events are in Birmingham with some football in Coventry and cycling in London, I think.

I put my name forward in the ballot for the Opening Ceremony, Cycling, Athletics and Beach Volleyball (because, hey, reasons …)

Sadly most sessions I applied for I was unsuccessful but did get tickets to the Beach Volleyball!

Is anyone excited about them?

Did you even know they were on?

Will you be giving them a miss?

Didnt know they were on. But I'm a sports junky so if it's on terrestrial TV and with decent presenters I'll watch it.

Wolverhampton

The cycling's coming to Wolverhampton. Which is nice for the city. But it's not something we'll watch. I haven't watched sport on TV since I moved out my parents house

Newcastle and Gateshead

I did some of the Olympics so I would have loved to have done some of the commonwealth’s… but this feels like it’s much more local

Edinburgh-ish

I love all the big, multisports events, the atmosphere is always amazing, I'm so excited for Comm Games. The opportunity to have lots of different sports on TV to watch is great.
