Chelmsford

Is the new Saudi backed golf tour which has prised away top players from the existing USA PGA tour and the European Tour.

Money talks ...

As a Newcastle fan I think my opinions on this will be biased so I will keep out of it.

Burnley

Will it take away the prestige of the majors ? Chances are if more of the top 20 move to liv it will.

A bit like how the fa Cup has been tarnished by Premier league and Europe.

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to sport and think it should be left alone.

All sports is about investment and money. So if it gives the golf players a chance to earn the kind of money other athletes do I’m for it.

With regards to the human rights violations that the Saudis commit we need to be stricter across the board with them we can’t pick and choose when and when not to Demonise them. We have boxing events ufc and formula one over in the Middle East now. Even Newcastle. So why a big issue when it’s golf?!! Also if we are going to pull the Saudis up onit like we have the Russians, then we need to with the Chinese, Israeli and Americans for all the human rights violations they are committing.

Opens a massive can of worms this subject

But in a nutshell I’m all for the LIV golf open

Not really, it's about fans and supporters, if they aren't there it becomes a minority sport

That's sponsorship, not ownership

It’s a massive injection of cash from a state. It’s still sportswashing.
