"After the hype, the wait for Paramount + to launch in the UK, I've just watched the first episode...Wow, just wow! If ever a show lives up to the hype this does. Stunning production, great script, and a cast that look, act and feel like they've been together for years. Top notch. " Nice one! I need to catch up with discovery too

"Where can it be found to watch" Paramount + launched in UK today. It's available through Sky and Amazon Prime. I think as an app on PlayStation.

"How does it compare to the god awful Enterprise and the utterly ridiculous Discovery? And the sounded so promising but ultimately disappointing Picard?" Not sure how best to answer. Personally I liked Enterprise and Picard. Discovery...yeah but Marmite, has some good ideas but can't deliver. Strange New Worlds returns to episodic storytelling, the cast, writing and production are top notch. Personal opinion.

" SNW has dropped in the uk I didn't realise, I have watched 6 episodes now and I must say Anson Mount when I saw him in discovery was the best thing about discovery which is now on Pluto TV which says it all. The Kelvin timeline shows Picard, Discovery are dire. My surprise was the Orville not Star Trek but is

"How does it compare to the god awful Enterprise and the utterly ridiculous Discovery? And the sounded so promising but ultimately disappointing Picard? Enterprise is hit and miss but has a good season 3 story arc. Strange New Worlds knocks it out of the park, as said before good production values good stories and a good captain at the helm, they are already shooting season two. Personal opinion. "

Picard is not Kelvin timeline. It takes place in the Prime universe after events (destruction of Romulus) that led to the creation of the Kelvin timeline, but are not part of it. Discovery is not Kelvin timeline. S1 & 2 take place 10yrs before TOS so before Nero travelled back in time and attacked the USS Kelvin. S3 & 4 take place 900yrs after events in S1 & 2, but still in the Prime universe. I liked The Orville way more than I thought I would.

Basically fanfic with a budget. But it was surprisingly good + fun.
