"me too me too...but I'm proper miserable at the moment...I usually put my decs up around the 18th November (ie next week)...but I'll be away for the last week of Novemeber and so daren't put them up cos the cats would probably do untold damage to my tree whist I was away....so it'll be 1st of December for me this year

However... Finding saying half as much half as often (thats a 1/4 of the norm) by that calculation and given the fact I now think before hitting the keys.. (Mostly) I should beat all previous records...

Its the same here, lost my dad a few years back and was weird, now this will be the first xmas without either my Mum or Dad.... I think also when your kids are grown up its never the same, I would love to turn back the clock to when my daughter belived in Father Christmas, the excitment and wonder on her little face when she walked into the living room on Xmas mornings brought tears to my eyes. It will be a food and drink filled holiday, plus camping over the New Year weekend down in South Devon
