Back in time for Birmingham

Tonight at 8pm on BBC Two.

The series “Back in time” is on and this time it is focused on the Asian life in Birmingham from the 1950s, right through 5 decades.

It looks really interesting. I enjoyed the other back in time programmes

Although I really quite dislike Wolverhampton as a city, I have some good memories of the place. The civic is probably the best music venue I've been to.

I like the Civic. It's nearly at the end of the refurbishment. Only taken 6 years But it does look really good

I've not been there since 2015. Still, it's a nice intimate venue

The only time I'm ever in wolves is for the civic or the Slade rooms.
