I don't know, but I needed some motivation, I can't believe I've let myself get this bad.

I know hun, but it's how you see yourself isn't it, I really don't like how I look right now, so I need to get my finger out and do something about it.

I don't mind that too much but when none of my clothes fit it's going to start being expensive.

I love curves and a little extra.

But I do understand that a lady needs to feel comfortable with herself, particularly if the intent is to be intimate.

Virtually every woman I have ever known has been on a diet, self denial is a feminine issue. Enjoy how you are, share it with those who love you.

You look good to me too. But I know you have an internal perception of how you appear to others - and until you are comfortable with that - nothing we say will make a difference.

Hugs

You need a winter wardrobe. You should fit into that...

I understand that, and feel the same, but this isn't about how others see me, I know some guys like curves, I just don't like how I look right now.

They look ok to me but they say 80% of the population isn't happy about some bit of the way they look (including me) Best bet is to think bugger it and be happy in your skin. I did it a bit back and much happier now.

This is the wrong time of year to be worrying about dieting.

Let Christmas finish and if your still unhappy with the way you look do something about it in the new year

But if you are about anyone else's opinion we both think you look fantastic as you are.

Thanks guys, well I've slept on it and still feel the same, I've piled the weight on since my hysterectomy last year, tbh I will have so much more confidence if I lose even just a little bit, so putting my plan into action.

I had a hysterectomy 16 years ago, spent 12 years on HRT and ballooned in size steadily. Now I find it next to impossible to lose weight. Good job for me that some guys like the larger lady. Once spring comes around I'll give it another go.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Best reason for losing weight is never because of looks. It should only ever be for health reasons.

Best way to lose weight and keep it off? Completely change your diet permanently. Just dieting then going back to the way you ate which made you put on the weight in the first place is a waste of time. And exercise. Simples.

It's how I managed to drop and keep off 3 dress sizes. I never feel like I miss out on anything, and never let myself be hungry. I eat regular and often and no processed/junk food. Cut down on fats and carbs (but not eliminate them as we need those too!).

I don't weigh food, or myself, don't calorie count and never feel guilty if I do have a bar of chocolate or the odd cake here and there. Life is too short to beat yourself up.

Do it for the right reasons and it will work.

I actually don't care about what your first post said, I saw the OP as Gingerkisses and buggered off for a look at your profile (I have a fondness for redheads).

Now what was your post about again? Oh yeah, wobbly bits. Fuck em, we are who we are
