I was born in 2001; so anything before that is old to me. Despite the fact I love all old things like vinyl collecting, cassettes, classic books etc; I still think anything older than me is ‘olden times’ lol. Tbh, I still think 2010 is ‘olden times’ despite the fact I lived in it

We were born in 1975 and as kids we thought the 60’s were in the olden days

It’s only now that seems ridiculous but times changed rapidly last century.

They did didn’t they?

But 2000 to 2020 all seemed the same. Didn’t it?

I was born in 73 so frankly anything more than 3 days ago is ancient

It’s when those things pop up on sm “x is nearer in time to y than z is”

Films, music tracks etc and I’m like

Noooo that can’t be right - then I check and it is!

Sometimes I compare what I thought was “olden times stuff” things that are within my mums era, to things I don’t think are olden but my daughter does and the time spans between are longer for the stuff between me and my daughters eras…if you can work all that out!!

Basically I was harder on my mum on this than my daughter is on me
