I remember all the kids peeling in the sun. It was before we all bought sun tan lotion of course, and they reckon that the exposure that certain fair-skinned kids had to the sun that year actually increased the chances of them getting skin cancer in later life. I remember it very well. It was the summer I took a real dislike to my younger sister (she was 2 at the time) due to circumstances - poor lass as it wasn't her fault
