2.30am munchies...

Burnleyish (She/They)

The downside to having had a gastric bypass is, if I don't eat enough at meal times, or I eat nutritionally less beneficial food (I'm looking at the tasty starchy carb groups there) I can get quite hungry.

I had tasty carbs as part of my dinner, which admittedly was 7 hours ago... But man I'm hungry now.

Can't be bothered to get out of bed though.

So;

Would you get out of bed? And

If you could eat anything now... What would it be?

For me it would be pâté on wholemeal toast (I wish they did extra toasty size wholemeal)

I've just woken up (insomnia) and there's two slices of dark rye bread in the toaster and a jar of Marmite on the counter.

I get really weird about eating in bed, it's a crumbs/sensory autistic thing...

Maybe I need to find none crumb producing bed snacks because I'm jealous of bed biscuits

Or marmite. Marmite would be as welcome as pâté

Marmite is a very satisfying flavour but a good pate is hard to beat.

I've been on a popcorn kick for middle of the night snack lately. Got a bag of caramel, butter and cheese popcorn waiting for me.
