Turn your phone off; disable email notifications if that’s the type of thing you have to do at work.

Keep weekends for literally just weekending. Work within your hours and remind yourself that you aren’t put on this earth to work your life away.

Discuss with management to see if there’s a possibility of helping you to manage your workload.

Take the time each day to relax and unwind through the use of a hobby or mindfulness.

Plan events so you know in advance you’ll have days when you aren’t working that you can look forward to.

Walk away at the end of your shift; bosses often expect extra time but nope! I’m working within my hours and that’s it.

I know it’s all easier said than done, but when it gets overwhelming just remember that there will be better days. Deadlines can be moved, emails can wait; memories can’t. No one ever died from not sending an email.

Depends on the job I guess but I don't think many people can cope with it taking over long term. Work to live not the other way around
