Have you tried downloading it directly from the Windows update catalogue?

Last I checked this was an issue with the update service itself.

Try restarting the update service itself and see if it then installs.

Restart the machine, I believe it should now be the June update instead

I have even taken 1 of them totally back to factory reset and still no joy. Tried downloading it directly and no luck there either

Lob them out of the window and get Macbooks?

Not very economical obviously but would solve the problem.......

There will be a file missing or different which is why it keeps failing . I had it on one of mine. Eventually it will update on its own....you can search online for work arounds or contact microsoft direct and they will direct it even control your machine and do it for you.

Turn it off then in again, if that doesn’t work eject via window - you’re welcome

If you google "manual download 2022-05 cumulative update for windows" you will find a link to catalogue.update.microsoft etc... here you see download links for the different variants of the update. You can just download & run
