People whose pictures get used for fake profiles

Just another newly created obviously fake profile (the pictures aren’t even consistent) and wondered who the person smiling out at me was and how they would feel if they knew their happy face (and other more delicate bits) was here for all to see.

How do others feel when they see these pics/profiles?

My photos have been used on numerous fake dating profiles. It’s creepy and annoying as hell. Makes me angry that people use peoples photos to try to con guys out of money!

Found a few of mine floating round the internet used for certain profiles on sites of xxx nature. Yes I’m registered on some sites but my images are mine explicit or not.

Reverse image searches are good but bring some shocking results tbh but it is what it is. Hence if I have a break off fab I hide my pics just in case.

Frustrating but what can be done??

Happened to me here once actually - years ago. Someone messaged to say someone else had the same pictures.

It is really bad but there are some gullible men who are desperate to meet someone so will risk it.

It’s down to being clever and digging a bit for info and never pay until seeing that person or talking off the site.

Always be scammers robbing men by sexual mean or hopes of.
