"Johnny rotton Or Ozzy Osbourne Being serious about this though Freddy Mercury had amazing vocal talent " I am shocked that this (apart from me now) has been the only mention of Freddie. His vocal range, pitch and tonal quality was outstanding. Even when he was dying he laid down some superb vocal tracks. A talent lost to the excesses of the rock world

"Pure, soulful or technically adept? Pure: maybe Sarah Vaughan Soulful: Miss Billie Holiday technical: Sinatra" Yes tricky question.. As in Whitney Houston had an amazing voice but it seemed somehow manufactured whereas George's voice was naturally pure .. That's kinda the only way I can explain it I guess .. I dunno

I dunno " Did you see the documentary about the last year or so of his life ? He was pretty much house bound and watched TV and listened to the radio a lot in the day. He often rang into shows when he saw people needing money for treatment, IVF etc. He would give the money on condition that it was never revealed where it had come from.
