Nothing wrong with eggs in the morning. 2 boiled eggs ~ 160kcal. Piece of toast buttered toast ~ 150kcal. That's a fair bit less than a bowl of cereal and arguably better for you.

Matt does fitness is hilarious but he has also said he’s going to stop the food challenges as it’s seriously affecting his health.

It is shocking to see what people eat every day

Even if you aren’t interested in the content the start with his son Luca is worth those first few minutes

When I’m in season to for competing it can get to 6k a day too. Out of season it’s roughly 5-6k a day, maybe dipping under 5 on the weekend

Extremely physical job for 50-60 hours a week plus training 4-8 times a week

I can imagine that people who are on the extreme end of competitions or doing something outdoors in extreme weather (walking to North Pole etc) would hit that sort of number but that is very unusual. It is definitely not the _average_ calorie intake.

Definitely not average that’s for sure. It’s genuinely a pain how much I spend on food.

Genuine question: what do you actually eat on a daily basis? I struggle to get above 3-3,500 calories on a consistent basis and I need to eat a bit more to put on muscle.

Since I need that much, I don’t struggle to eat it, so it’s just normal stuff, just bigger portions

For example I might have 300-400g or cereal with about a litre of milk for breakfast. Nothing fancy. Just big portions.

If I want to gain weight then I start to struggle.

I used to like him but his channel has just devolved into "Eating my wife's cousin's brother in law's best friend's Uber driver's diet for xyz hours". He needs new content ideas.

I like when he visits other athletes and trains with them though, and the public money challenges

Finally got round to watching it. Don't know why I was expecting a non-clickbait video off a prominent YouTuber, but he titled it as if he'd actually done any amount of research into the average British person's daily diet. Instead he just found some dodgy articles around foods people generally like to eat and ate a bunch of those. Easy money though

He basically just picked a bunch of stereotypical English food - full English, roast dinner, fish and chips - and passed that off as an average Brit's daily diet.

I'm not triggered, I promise

Just started watching the video. I think the breakfast stats have come from a survey of greasy spoon caffs

Or maybe how much bacon is sold in a week.

I put it in my bolognese.

Dude is juiced up and mostly full of shit, not a good advert.

I have no problem with people using gear but at least be honest about it so people can gauge what can be achieved naturally and aspire to that, not the unrealistic.

So many of them about, Mike O'Hearn is another fake natty. Just admit you're using.
