I know not swinging or even naughty related but I’m some of you might be in the know, looking to spend a night away in Brighton, has anyone got any recommendations of where is best to park a car for two days and overnight?

"Which part of the city will you be parking in? "

Yet to book somewhere as would like to get the parking nailed first, ideally looking for somewhere to stay/park between the pier & marina but can be flexible as long as we can get to most places on foot

You should know that parking I'm central Brighton is mega expensive. The marina is free and a short bus or taxi journey to the centre.

Otherwise wise I think your look at 50 pound+ at least

I've asked a friend that drives. He said it there is a sign there but he has leaves it there regularly for more than 3 hours. It's not monitored.

But please do your own due diligence before

It’s definitely proving tricky trying to find somewhere to leave the car!

Also, tariffs may differ if it's weekday or weekend. Of you're I'm a hotel ask them about it. They could give you a discount.

I've parked in the Preston Park area... This is the penultimate train station into central Brighton. Depending on when you arrive, I've found parking no problems... Of course I'm sure free parking spaces would be a premium if you're attending Pride or any kind of event. The train fare from Preston Park into Brighton is peanuts compared to parking fees.

Left mine in the marina car park for about 6 hours last weekend. Was expecting to come back to a ticket but there wasn't one. They probably patrol on foot every now and then, and I just got lucky...

Parking tickets are £70 I believe in Brighton, reduced to £35 if paid within two weeks. £35 for a whole day/night isn't too bad anyway so I'd risk it

Cheapest I found a few weeks ago (Friday till Saturday) was North Street car park RCP

Brighton

Try the Just Park app. Used it in the past and the prices are pretty reasonable, and often central.

Basically Air BnB for parking spaces.

As I understand it if you buy a coffee in McDonald's and keep the receipt you can stay as long as you like.
