Is Cod the new Caviar

Cod has gotten so expensive that many restaurants are taking it off the menu..

Now one thing about Tom is that he knows his fish.. part of the supply problem is that Russia exported a lot of it. Iceland will benefit with soaring prices ... Will it be the new Caviar.. out of reach for many and prized by the wealthy ....

Not really that much of a big deal as there are plenty of other white fish that are not too dissimilar from cod.

There is a chippy near me that passes off catfish as cod and the portions are huge and the price very very reasonable. I just wish they would call it fish n chips instead of cod and chips..

if they continue to over fish then these things will happen commercial fishing is horrendous lots more of the ocean need protecting ... that way the fish stocks can recover ocean management is needed and not by private companies ...

sea pirates on net flix highly recommended you be shock how much waste there is

im veggie but hubby is not hes said catfish is thee best fish hes ever had
