Why clean it…. Leave all the crud on the grates and let the preheat on the next cook turn it all to ash & sterilise it.

The only thing I clean on mine is the drip tray & that depends on how much fats have been deposited.

Picnic. I've been ill from dodgy burgers before so avoid them if I can. Plus a picnic can have loads of different food - including chicken legs hygienically cooked in an oven.

Plus BBQs always have men fighting over sorting out the fire. It's dull.

Picnic as you just bin the rubbish no need to clean a grill etc but saying that over the weekend I was in sunny Paignton and someone was cooking on a small bbq outside their beach hut it smelt amazing
