A lot of women on here seem to be very anti wink, I don’t know why they cause so much consternation!!?? Is it because they show a lack of effort ?? Am always happy to receive one or any contact for that matter !! wink wink

I like a wink and use it often if I've read the profile and I'm not quite sure we are what they are looking for I'll send a little wink, if we get one back I'll follow up with a message, I think it's a great way to see if both parties like each others profiles.

I agree with this. Always wink first then follow with message if they have looked at profile. In my case unfortunately it doesn’t always work being a single guy as people don’t believe I’m single. Oh well off for a good wink session! Lol

I prefer a wink, instead of no wink.

Imagine if fab took away that feature…

Can’t beat a good old wink! Good way to show interest, and maybe follow up with a short message.

Obvs won’t work on some

Some great friendships I've formed on here started with a wink.

We’ll send a wink to show interest.

If we receive a wink back, we’ll message.

Sometimes it works and sometimes we’ll just send a message.

Depends on my mood as to how I deal with winks.

When I get annoyed, I imagine biting your bottom lip.

All the profiles I check all have don't bother winking. Obviously I'm not looking in the right area.

I don't really look at who winked or people who have looked at.

I do wink at people who interest me or when play a forum game.

I always think that a wink is like the first time you see someone when you're out and you notice each other.

Winks are a non-threatening way of showing interest. We would far rather get a wink than any of the terrible messages we receive.

I’ve had some good interactions from winks, it’s a good way of showing interest without being aggressive.

As with other features though, it’s hit and miss as to who looks at them

Like many on here im a winker all day long, its a sign of appreciation or interest. If I get a wink back then i will message if not i will assume that there is no interest.

I like a wink. I don’t send first messages so if I wanted to show my interest that’s how I’d do it. Feels less of a rejection if a wink doesn’t get returned.

I see a wink as an ‘I liked your profile but don’t have anything further to say’ just like an appreciation of what I’ve put up. I forget it’s there most of the time so only sporadically look at them

I don't mind winks, but most I get are from men. If they had read my profile they would see I'm straight.
