I am harbouring a stray cat in my flat. The two resident cats aren’t happy with me or him. Today he was supposed to go to the vet to be scanned for a chip. Today I found out he doesn’t like the hands on approach, other than that he’s very calm… perhaps too calm

Been working. Moved to a new team and got lots of welcoming GIFs on Teams.

Spent half my working day looking at one really shitty account and making recommendations for it. Had to apologise in advance when a high level person needed to call me as the three year old was home, and he loves jumping into calls. Luckily he bordered on adorable rather than the loud irritating sod he usually is.

Had dinner, had shower, might have naughty time once kids are properly asleep

The Uberboat on the Thames is wheelchair accessible except for 3 piers, and a nice ride. There's a little refreshment bar on board too.

All but three have accessible toilets.

My cats are much better now, the three of them slept in the living room last night and I got left out!

I’m not sure he has a owner.. anyway a local cat rescue is ‘picking’ him up as soon as I’m clear of Covid, where they can do all the necessary checks and scanning and rehabilitation & rehoming if needs be. He’ll make someone a super companion one day when he accepts being touched.

I commuted! The water level was super low so the piers were incredibly steep. I had to ask for actual help to get off Greenwich Pier. I might have super strong shoulders, but it defied the laws of physics this morning. Tempted to take the bus back because I'm unsure anyone will be able to assist on the way back. Boat staff can't leave the boat to shove me up the Embankment.

Compared to other transport it's ridiculously safe. The chance of it happening is so slim. 6 or 7 incidents in the 20 years I've been flying
