So I've just learned, ya know, 12 years after the event that they remade A Nightmare on Elm Street.

In 2 minds whether to watch or not. I'm not usually a fan of remakes although I do love Jumanji coz it's so different to the original.

What say you?

I say, it depends on what's being remade and why.

Jumanji wasnt really a remake, but a sequel.

The dawn of the dead remake was pretty solid.

Watch that version of Freddy. It's a fucking abomination.

Watch the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th also.

^ this. Honestly, it's dire. But if you're a fan of The Room style of good film, you might love it.

I've gone with Suicide Squad purely coz it's another I really enjoy. I don't wanna feel the disappointment of an Elm Street that doesn't do the original justice. It was exceptional for its time.

The teaser online is only 16 seconds and looks amazing. They have put in so much work into it I think its goingbto be great.

Depends on the remake

True grit was better than expected

Magnificent seven was just a western using the name

Don't know how they thought could remake an 11 Oscar winning film like Ben Hur

Esp hate when they remake and change endings
