I only saw the last 15/20 minutes, but his character as written doesn't come out of it well. Plus, he wouldn't benefit from publicity anyway.

Fictionalised account of how the death penalty was brought back in the UK and Gary Glitter was the first person to hang.

Bit of a stretch, but well acted (documentary style) and probably raises some interesting issues. Not sure how using Gary Glitter is relevant, I'm sure they could have fictionalised him too. Maybe use him for shock value, get some free publicity
