My youngest has just lost her first tooth age 7, (shes quite late!)

The tooth fairy in my area left 2 pounds, my OH says this is tight and that the tooth fairy in his area was leaving that amount 10 years ago !!!!

So what does she leave where u live??

Andrea.

Ours leaves £5 for the first tooth and £1 for the others. So ours must be really tight

Not sure about the tooth fairy, but I was expecting an important call the other night so I stuck my phone under my pillow - when I got up, it'd gone...flamin' bluetooth fairy...

Essex.

We normally do £5 and then £1 there after. Trouble is our 9 yro has got to have 2 taken out under general anaesthetic so that's going to cost me about £25 for a Halo toy....

Can't we have a 'hair fairy' for us guys? We get a voucher for Witherspoons under our pillow every stage that we lose, say, 5% of our hair....

£5 per tooth was the going rate for my kids. I'm glad they'd all finished when the recession hit!...lol

My kids used to say "I hope the tooth fairy doesnt fold the money up too small" - I guess they 'knew' and developed the art of subtle hinting at an early age
