I love looking at the night sky. Helps keep me occupied while night beachfishing, am blessed with very low levels of light pollution where I fish so makes the sky brighter and there's lots more to see. Lee

Love stargazing. Unfortunately, London is a bad place for it.

Something I've always been interested in.

Finally brought a descent telescope a couple of years ago and observed the rings of Saturn. WOW!

One of my favourite memories is swimming in the sea off the Gower with the water full of phosphorescent plankton sparkling and flashing as I disturbed it with a sky full of stars overhead. We spent the night with the kids sleeping on the beach.

Best viewing for stars I've ever had was getting to a cottage we were staying at in N Yorkshire at about 3am many many years ago. The atmospheric conditions must have been perfect because the sky was thick with stars the Milky Way looked like a cloud it was so dense.

I’m quite lucky as we live in a Valley so the light pollution isn’t so bad and when I go in the back garden at night with my dogs I have an awesome night sky (weather permitting). Only recently seen my first shooting star, got stupidly excited about it.

Shooting stars move too fast. By the time I realise what I've seen it's already gone.

Worthing

Winter is best for telescope viewing. Nothing better than having a quiet and cold night outside gazing at the heavens. Some of those stars have light which left them many years ago.
