Please do

Make my nipples tingle with your musings

Recently, I’ve been rather surprised by someone - I’ll not say why, except it was pleasantly so.

Have you ever made a decision about a person, stuck with it - then realised you probably made it too quickly?

It’s not easy to say you were wrong , you judged without any cause to?

Tell me

yeah i have. i used to work in hospitality, so you kinda get used to making snap decisions about people cos you have to. More often than not, my judgement is pretty spot on, with only minor variations as I know them further.

One major example of being wrong was someone that I made an opinion on, nothing negative, but just nothing like I thought she would be. I married her and then found out what she was really like.....

Yes … I’ve learnt people aren’t who they make themselves out to be

I usually give the benefit of the doubt, but I judged way too quickly.

Not necessarily the same as judging someone unfairly first

I think we’re all able to say we’ve met someone, liked them - then realised they’re awful

Not to brag or anything but my judgements are always pretty spot on.

I feel I've been in company of enough dicks/twats to spot them a mile off now.

I've always been good at reading people from the get go. Sometimes I've doubted myself and gave people the 'benefit of the doubt' but have always been proven right. If your gut tells you something about someone, listen to it always.

I never judge, occasionally, peoples cards do not let them tap at my counter .I live for these opportunities to say

“Ah sir, it’s just asking if, you wouldn’t mind slipping it in the bottom”

No. I sit quietly and they prove me right over time. I always trust my gut and feelings. Have I missed out on some good friendships yes. But there is always a reason why it doesn't feel right

I guess for me judging/judgment carries a negative connotation.

I'd be more likely to use the word assume, but that's just me

Would they have actually been good friendships though?

Good times maybe but not true friends.

Again, that's just how I see it
