Wow, that's a great selection of cats! We got ours from a reputable breeder - all our others are rescues, but we had one little Burmese cross who sadly died recently - she was kind of a therapy cat for my wife and was greatly missed (still is) and we wanted another with similar personality traits. Our new little lass has all the above and more. She's a lilac tortie with an orange splodge on her forehead.

both my bengals were rescues. As was my mainecoon cross. The half Burmese was because like you growing up with a certain breed I missed them. X the others well.

. They are just additions to the mad House. Have to say mostly having oriental breed cats makes for Lots of noise

I have a black lab (female) of just over a year and 2 cats (both of whom I’ve hardly seen since the dog moved in!).

The dog is loopy and energetic, but soft, gentle and kind.

The cats are just greedy self-loving wankers

15 cats?? Were they strays? I have a stray here, he’s absolutely gorgeous so calm in the house, but I just don’t *get* him. If anything he freaks if you try to handle him, yet will let you stroke the top of his head. He’ll be heading off to a proper cat shelter who have had many cats like him so sure they will win round in the end & find him a suitable home

I’m admin on a page on FB that points people in the direction of rescue shelters, either “at home” local shelters or overseas ones, including Safe Haven, and a friend is a Home Checker for them
