Put me off the sea for life!

I have those moments in a pool as well. And in the bath. On the loo. Washing up.

I swim well enough to get by when doing triathlons. I prefer open water swimming as the wetsuit bouts my sunny legs and makes up for my poor technique. In a pool I do a mile in just over 30 minutes.

I’d rather fart about on a water slide tho…

Similar, in fact I'm doing a (non branded) ironman distance event next weekend starts off with 2.4 miles in a lake. I'm middling, I won't be the first out the water, nor I hope the last.

I love to be in the water. I’m proficient at front and back crawl but my breaststroke is only half good (arms are good, legs are awful). On a good day I can manage half a dozen strokes of butterfly.

i’m very comfortable under the water (breathing techniques that stand me in good stead for other diving activities )
