Which is your favourite gin? And mixer?

I’m looking for new ones to try

T has bought me a bottle of Highclere Castle & a new Isle of Harris one but I’ve not opened either yet.

Oh I didn't know this, although I don't need an excuse to have a gin!

Love a Brockmans and tonic but has to be garnished with blueberries or raspberries

I think 3 day and chuck Sunday in too!!

But 5 years ago according to my photo memories of was on the 10th. They probably move it to a Saturday to get more business

Just a good dry gin with full fat tonic (just a dash) and plenty of ice.

Not a great fan of the trendy sweet ones that remind us of the 80s alcopops.

I like the traditional Gordon's with slimline tonic and Sainsburys do a similar, but cheaper one. I regularly have a Tin of Gin with me.

I'm also a fan of rhubarb flavour

Bought one of their Rums. Not often we pour stuff down the sink

Most craft gin club boxes for the last 3 years plus several gins I knew of on my own (or different ones sold by distilleries I found thanks to craft gin club

) that little box has cost me a fortune over the years...

Top 4 off the top of my head are:

1. GWYR - Rhamanta

2. Altitude - Alpine dry

3. Batch - Industrial strength

4. Perfume trees

I drink a lot of the batch gins, they are local to me so I can pick up bottles to take home in one of my locals!

Ah see I have curated through holidays and samples plus the odd splurge here and there.

My top 4 would be:

Whittaker's

Wild island sacred tree

Brockmans

Nibbs elderflower (which is great in fizz too)

However I have many unopened ones that have been gifted as I've told myself not to open new bottles until some of the others have been emptied
