Leeds (Home) / Sheffield (Work)

A shower head which would light up and change colours So pointless.

I’d say smartphones are some of the most useful gadgets!

The most useful is the food processor. It's a really good one and used a lot

The most pointless was bought for us by my mother. It's a milk top pourer. You're supposed to take the actual lid off the milk bottle, put on this plastic thing which you can press and it lifts up. It saves you the difficulty of opening the bottle when you need milk

My most useful and most pointless are one in the same

8K tv

Useful ness the game mode in it is out off this world

VRR 4K 120hzr 3ms response time with 12bit colour

Why it’s pointless

8K content is not existent and is way way off

After seeing the size off the 8k test file this was in the tv

3 minutes video 56gb

That would put a 18Gb a minute that puts a 2 hour movie at 2Tb

Somewhere In The Ether…

I never purchased it but the Lakeland Banana lunchbox - which was a lunchbox in the shape of a banana especially for bananas struck me as a bit silly.

An automatic watch. Does nothing but frustrates me in the morning because it's run out of charge and I have to wind it again. And it's pricey as fuck.

If you wear a watch with an automatic/self winding mechanism and it doesn't keep working overnight, then you need to get a better quality one! Most are good for at least 48 hours.

I've still got my father's Seiko automatic, which I bought for him over 40 years ago, that will last for 3 days.

My Omega chronometer (manual/wind up mechanism) will go for 3 days before I have to wind it again.

Quality never goes out of fashion!!

I also have a Seiko watch and expected it to last longer. But it somehow stops early in the morning. Maybe there is an issue with mine.

I swap between my Dad's old Seiko automatic, my Omega wind up, and a Seiko Kinetic, which has a battery but is an automatic mechanism to top up the battery (4 years old). All are good for 3 days left on the side table.

What model have you got, how old?

Worst A 'spiraliser' seemed a great idea to do fancy salads and what not, used it once.

Best a 'snowfoam' add on for my jetwash. I do the car, house, everything with it

My air fryer is ACE!

I was given one of those plastic tube devices for cutting gift wrap. It's the stupidest most ridiculous gadget I have ever encountered. Scissors WORK FINE!
