I followed one for a good couple of hundred meters once to stop anyone else squishing it- daft bugger wouldn't get out of the road. Nothing soft about it, well done for protecting the wildlife

I ran over a pheasant the other week, it was a pheasant with a cause. He wobbled out in front of my car and looked me dead in the face as I squished him what a hero
