When it comes to going abroad, do certain blokes only care about beer, sex and football or is that just a stereotype?

I think it depends where you go.

That’s a complete stereotype. I think it’s slightly age dependent but surely a minority are like that.

I’m more bothered about the scenery and history of somewhere.

I do enjoy a nice local bar too though.

Beverley

Have to agreee with above poster, beer I can get at home, so prefer to walk and raise my eye level up to look at buildings and go to museums or to site and people watch with good food and wine.

I love trips to Italy for the above reasons

I’m going away in September to Majorca (whether I’m on my own or not I don’t care) and all I wanna do is laze by the pool, go to a sports bar, watch football and relax. If I meet someone there then great. If not! Oh well.

I'm not a football fan, can't handle my booze at best of times, never mind in sweltering heat not gonna lie and say not bothered about the sex though

Certain blokes do.

But that's far from all.

“Men only care about beer, sex and football”

The fact you have to even ask if that’s a stereotype is a big part of the problems we’re facing today.

I hate football, I dont drink much these days, rather a nice glass of wine or two. If sex happens the it happens certainly not a priority when I go abroad

We tend to go to quieter areas, anybody who likes beer and football wouldn't enjoy them. When we've been to more popular resorts there are always bars that attract people who want to drink and watch footie. As long as they don't cause any trouble I can't see a problem

In the west.

When I go on a solo trip I can please myself. I don't drink when when I'm away and even then it's usually after 5pm.

I love to wander the streets of where ever I am looking at the architecture and finding out about the history of buildings and monuments.

And trying new foods.

I agree when it comes to a certain minority depending on their age as some younger lads would go abroad to party, get pissed and get laid while with some older guys, it's the same but swap partying with football.

When I go abroad, I enjoy seeing the sights, relaxing with a cold drink and soaking the sun.

I’m sure certain blokes do.

I’m equally confident certain other blokes don’t.

Aah, the rich tapestry of life.

Such a marvellous wonder!
