Why is it so hard for some people to tell you that they aren’t going to attend the meet or social you’ve arranged with them….

So so annoying!

"I think some people nevee intend to meet up sadly ,it's an awful thing to do though and please report them op."

It’s just such a waste of my time

My time is so precious so when someone has agreed to meet it’s so disappointing when they don’t.

But if they have a genuine excuse it’s ok, but when there’s nothing…..

I’ve heard this often..think sometimes guys just like the idea and have a Tommy tank before bottling it ..

When I’ve met people who weren’t for me I’ve always met them anyway and said as much.

We were let down by about 5 guys once for a gangbang. It's so rude. We blocked everyone that didn't give notice. Even blocked their profiles when they've returned to Fab!

Sadly happens to us all. But if it’s a frequent occurrence, I would think about your approach to seeking up a meet.

I usually ask the lady “ if for any reason you need to cancel, could you just send me a quick message’

I also send a message stating , I’m heading to the date. Usually 30 minutes before the date .

I’ve organised a fair number of GB meets. Only 3/10 people will turn up. The number increases if you’ve met them before .

I know it’s disheartening.

Well I was getting paranoid, I have had 4 no shows over the years, with no apology given or reason, usually when you try and contact its ignored or profile deleted or even blocking me.

Agree with OP its also expensive, if its hotel meet I usually organise a nice room with some space, such a shame to waste the space with a no show not to mention expense.

Now I am more cautious about a meet. Such a shame as it tarnishes ones view of FAB. I do wonder how many turned up had a look and decided otherwise!

Sorry to hear the wasted expense of a hotel room.

I usually only book the hotel room once the lady has arrived. It does mean the cost is more.

I wonder if single ladies get the same from men no showing .

Many people get no shows. Some are genuine, some are not. It is very frustrating. Sat there in all your glory and not a single male in sight.

Not sure why some people choose to do this without having the decency to cancel and let the person know.

Fake profiles maybe or they just get off on having a wank over pictures but the reality is a lot more different.

I will not turn up for a meet unless I've heard from them that day. It's not foolproof but I've not a no show to date

I find that if you have built up a rapure with someone, there is less chance of a let down, but if it is a spontaneous meet the risk is much higher for a no show.

I've been here 5 years and never had a no show or been one so I'm not sure what I'm doing differently.

I wish I knew the answer, I get so many no show, and not even a message to say sorry.

I would rather have bad excuse then none.

Because everyone wants to meet the unobtainable.

If everyone lowered their standards and just agreed to meet anyone who propositioned them we’d all be getting on famously

Happens a lot unfortunately, really does affect your mental health, just feel like shit or worthless, best to just block and move on! Wish there was a way a no show can be reported, like 3 strikes and your out.

It's happened to my twice, different women in different areas, but same situation, she'd suggest meeting in her local pub,I'd drive forty miles, sit in what turns out to be a right dump of a pub for an hour then when she doesn't show up drive another forty miles home. Very annoying especially with current cost of diesel. They both apologised & have what was probably a genuine excuse, but why not message me as soon as they realise they're not going to make it.

Try and work a meet into other plans. Social combine it with doing other things etc hotel meet make sure there’s decent places to go in the area etc. you can report no shows through their profile or messages.

I don’t meet often but if I say I’ll be somewhere I’ll be there.
